It is a heavy burden placed on someone without his consent and which he has no control over.

By the sin of Adam, we have become a slave to the devil.

Still, we no more need to be a sinner or a captive to the bondage of sin, as Jesus has shed His precious blood for us and His anointing will destroy every bondage and captive of the sin which was ruling over our body.

God has set us free. Devil has no more power over us.

When you read Mark 5:15, the Demon possessed man had no clue about his life, and satan had destroyed his life completely. He lost his identity, isolated; no clothes and he was no more behaving like a normal man .

It was like he lost everything in his life.

One thing we need to remember is, no situation is too late until Jesus steps into it. There is nothing Jesus can’t bring back. It broke all the yokes of that man entirely, and he was set free.

Scriptures say “[Jesus] said to him, ‘Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you.’

And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marvelled” Mark 5:18-20.

Everyone marvels at you when the power of God destroys your yokes.

When the power of God struck in your life, you will never like before. Everything changes for sure.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we need your anointing in our life. Your anointing power can break down all the yokes and bondages in our life.

Help us to trust you for everything in our life. We ask everything in Jesus name. Amen.

Reflection:

1. Do you believe the anointing power of Jesus?

2.
