Building Godly Friendly – Relationship

This is to make somebody or you healthier or stronger. A relationship between friends: a close, lasting and lifelong friend. It is a way in which two people; groups behave towards each other or deal with each other. If you want to build such a relationship; you have to obey the law of God. Note that obedience is far better than sacrifice. When you have any obedient child you know how you will feel towards such child. That is what God feels towards us even more also.

“And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul”. Deut 11:13

The heart that will like to build a friendly and Godly relationship must be a heart of flesh and not that of stone. Anything described as Godly is of Christ. Allow Him in your life. You must give your life to Christ. Having done this, you must make sure your would-be friend or partner has given his or her life to Christ. “If the foundation is destroyed, there nothing the righteous can do” (Psalms 11:3). Don’t say ‘I will change him/her later. Don’t deceive yourself. Watch out and be careful.

“The heart of man is deceitful and deceitful and desperately wicked, who can know it”. Jer. 17:9

For a strong Christian to be built up, you need to be very strong in prayer, praise and the Word. These three aspects of life are very important in building you up. The task of building a Godly and friendly relationship is not for the chicken-hearted. You should be very much aware that devil has his own ministry too. To steal, kill and destroy. He is very serious about this. The devil can do anything to destroy a Godly and friendly relationship (John 10:10). In building up yourself, your personal relationship with God is very crucial. You should love your God and be so close to Him that you will be able to hear from Him. A deaf dog will definitely get lost in the wilderness. God speaks to man in various ways. Be sensitive to the way God speaks to you. You are unique. The way God speaks to me may not be the way He speaks to you.

“Come unto me, all ye that labor and heavy laden and I will give you rest”. Matt. 11:28.

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light”. 1 Peter 2:9.

If you are not a believer and you are reading this, know the God who created you wants to have relationship with you. He invites you into something deeper. He wants to relate to you in a way that will change you from the inside out. God is calling you, inviting you into relationship with Him. If you don’t know God, He invites you into a personal relationship with Him. If you do know God, He invites you to a deeper relationship with Him. It’s an invitation to a life with a depth, richness and satisfaction. A black and white life explodes with colors; your prospect in life is rich and fuller.

“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowership of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord”. 1 Corinthians 1:9.

In conclusion, Paul may plant, Apollo may do the watering, and harvest is of the Lord. But remember that the thought of God towards you is the thought of peace and not of evil to give you to an expected end. He loves you first. When we are yet sinners, Christ died for us. Have this at the back of your mind. This love of God is sure. I mean it is the surest. As you strife hard to do His will, know that He will never withhold from you any good thing. He will plant your feet in green pasture. Your life will be like a tree planted by the riverside. You will not know shame in Jesus Name. SHALOM!!!
