Hyper Grace False Teaching Exposed
Hyper grace is a popular trend in Christianity. In fact, the name of the denomination contains the direction of their faith. Believers in this denomination do not consider good deeds to be very important, they are absolutely sure of their salvation. The basis of their creed is that their past and future sins will be automatically forgiven by God because of Jesus’ sacrifice.
Repent and Forsake your Sins
Yet in the word of God we can see that only those who repent and forsake their sins will be forgiven.
„Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out,”
Acts 3:19
It is very important for all Christians to understand that God is not only gracious but also righteous. God shows no partiality, he will pay everyone according to their deeds, not according to their faith.
„For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done.”
Matthew 16:27
„And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one’s deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile,”
1Peter 1:17
The Importance of Grace
But what is grace if God will judge according to our deeds? Before the death and resurrection of Jesus, it was the sacrificial order with which they could settle their relationship with God. However, this required the presentation of the sacrifice through the intercession of a Levite.
With the sacrifice of Jesus, we no longer have to make sacrifices for our sins, but we can ask God directly for forgiveness of our sins. This is one of the most important parts of grace. And the other most important part of grace is that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to us. Unfortunately, most Christians also misunderstand the work of the Holy Spirit because they place emphasis on spiritual gifts.
„But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”
John 14:26
The Work of the Holy Spirit
So the Holy Spirit reminds us of the words of Jesus. It is a grace that the Holy Spirit can help us live the way God expects of us in every moment of the day. We must read the Bible, because how can the Holy Spirit remind us of what we do not know?
There are many misconceptions because instead of reading the Bible, they try to imagine God according to their hearts. This is how the teaching of hyper grace was developed, that whatever you do, you will be saved. Hyper grace is one of the most dangerous misconceptions that leads many people to gehenna.
