Why Does God Allow Suffering?

If we apply the simple fact that we serve God, not God serves us, we cannot fail in prayer. Jesus also in His prayers (also in what he taught his disciples to pray - Our Father who art in heaven) includes that the Father's will be done. So whatever we asked for in our prayer, we give God the right to override it.

Does God kill?

Among Christians is the mindset that God never kills. This is justified by the fact that God is love, so love cannot kill. They also explain that the Ten Commandments contain “thou shalt not kill,” and God applies this to Himself.

Consuming Fire

Why did God appear on the mountain? To give His law to the people! And why did He appear in a fire? Because what comes from this world cannot survive the fire of God. Because there is nothing in this world that can survive in the presence of God! Therefore, we either obey His word and may have fellowship with God, or we disobey, but then His fire consumes us.

What must I do to be saved?

What must I do to be saved? This is usually answered without thinking by saying: by grace through Jesus. The problem with this answer is that it is a very simplistic answer, the meaning of which is not known to many.

Taking God Seriously

What does it mean to take God seriously? If we do His will! Most Christians take God’s promises seriously, but they don't even want to hear about His judgement. Yet the judgment affects all who do not live according to the rules laid down by God.
