Responding to God’s Voice:

God’s voice is a remedy for anyone who is in desperate need of help. “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me” John 10.
A true blessing comes when one starts to hear the voice of God and act according to His will. No matter what kind of situation one might have been going through, when the voice of God reaches a man, it gives him an immense strength to go through the situation and gives a firm faith on Lord.

But many Christians find it very hard to listen to the voice of God. For many it seems to be an unfulfilled dream. Are you going through such kind of situation? Are you trying to hear and praying for years to listen to the voice of God, but haven’t heard him yet?

Remember, once you fully grasp God’s love in your life and how He wants to get involved in your life, then everything gets change, and you can start to hear His voice and His actions in your day to day life activity. The first thing to remember to receive God’s voice in your life, we must belong to Jesus.

As Jesus said in John 10 “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me” There are several voices from the outside world which often drags us out from hearing God’s voice and being obedient. You can start to listen to His voice as soon as you become a docile sheep of the Shepherd. He will give you the right direction to the destiny He wants you to walk.

We can start to hear His voice very clearly when we begin to spend more time studying the Bible. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16–17).

The more we start to spend intimately with His Word and seeking His presence, the easier it is to recognize the voice of God in our lives. Luke 10:42 says “But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” Like Mary, when we start to be in His foot, the more clearly His voice arrives at us. There will be no greater blessings in our life than hearing and walking according to His will. So let us submit ourselves to God completely today to listen to the Lord’s voice in our life.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank you for this day and everything you have showered in my life. We know that without you we can’t do anything. Help us to rely on you completely and hear your voice daily. We need your guidance and your power every day. We ask these in the precious name of Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
