Why Does God Allow Suffering?

Why Does God Allow Suffering?

If we apply the simple fact that we serve God, not God serves us, we cannot fail in prayer. Jesus also in His prayers (also in what he taught his disciples to pray - Our Father who art in heaven) includes that the Father's will be done. So whatever we asked for in our prayer, we give God the right to override it.

Manna

Manna

We all know the story of Israel's 40-year wandering in the desert, the Lord ordered manna for them as food. What we must know about the manna is that it is not only given by God as food, but also as a sign and for the purpose of teaching. As we read in the opening verse, through the manna God made it known that man lives with everything that comes from the Lord's mouth, so we live by His word!

Remind each other of the Gospel

Remind each other of the Gospel

There are times when we know the Word of God well, we know what the promises of God are, but sometimes we need someone to remind us of these. If a believer is stronger in faith, the believer who is in need of reinforcement should help. This is the duty of every believer.

Seek God according to His commandments

Seek God according to His commandments

There is a way to worship Him. We can only worship Him in the way God has given us. There are no new ways of doing this, there are no new teachings of the Holy Spirit on this, for just as Jesus said that the Holy Spirit does not speak his own, but what Jesus said (John 16:13).

Delighting in the Law of God

Delighting in the Law of God

If we love God more than anything, then His laws (also known as His will) become our delight, because then we no longer fulfill them because God asks of us, but because we want to fulfill them.

The Obedience of Faith

The Obedience of Faith

Parents expect trust from their children. Especially when the child is young, it is not possible for the child to understand everything what we are asking for. And when children are older, they expect us to explain our requests to them. However, parents do not always like this, as they expect trust and obedience from their children. If this is important between the parent and the child, how much more between God and His creatures?

What should we do?

What should we do?

If we truly (in deeds) love God, we can know Him. We do not change immediately at repentance, but through knowing God. Repentance is just the beginning of the journey, you have to go through it, you have to go through the door.

Endurance

Endurance

The Heroes of Faith, whose lives we can read in the Tanach, became heroes because they stood in the commandments of God, endured in faith throughout their lives, and believed unwaveringly in the promises of God what they did not see them fulfilled.

Without limits

Without limits

Elijah is a great example of how close we can be to God. He was just a man, just as we are. There is no limit to the knowledge of God, God is holy, and only those who live as holy can be close to Him.

Preach the Truth

Preach the Truth

Christians preach the truth in their own view, but it often differs from the truth of the Bible. This is because they are not trying to understand the truth by the Word of God. Many determine what is the truth by their own hearts and thoughts, but we can only know the truth through the word of God.

One-Man Army

One-Man Army

It is really easier to stay in faith if everything is fine with us and around us. But it is a state of comfort that does not require much faith from us. What we see with our eyes does not require faith, but when God hides Himself from us, it really shows how much faith we have in Him.

Gratitude

Gratitude

Gratitude is one of the important things that should characterize a Christian. If we are not grateful for God’s blessings, let us not be surprised if God withdraws the blessings we thought were natural.

Why Doesn't God Answer Me?

Why Doesn't God Answer Me?

So those who don’t hear God’s voice may not be paying enough attention. Their lives are too noisy to hear the voice of God. It can be a trial to see what is in our hearts. If God sees us where He wants to see us, there is no need for correction.

The Mark of the Beast

The Mark of the Beast

Christians have already tried to interpret this topic from several directions, but I don’t think they are looking for answers in the right place. Each age has its own fashion, and so it is with the mark of the beast. In modern times, due to advances in technology, it is imagined in the form of implantable microchips, or by consuming an energy drink called Monster, the sign in Hebrew 666.

Dangerous Emotions

Dangerous Emotions

The key to our relationship with God is obedience. This is how we can get closer to Him, not through our emotions. Yet many choose the emotional path, so there is more praise in the place of obedience, and more prayer in the place of deeds. There is confusion in Christianity because they try to understand God through emotions.

Signs and Wonders

Signs and Wonders

We will see from God’s Word how God gives His signs and wonders. Even in our daily lives, we experience the miracles of God, and occasionally as a great testimony in healing from a deadly disease, in the form of escaping hopeless situations. It is part of our lives, already those who have a personal relationship with the Lord in reality.

Unbelieving Believers

Unbelieving Believers

You must live in God’s will, walk in God’s pleasure! Those who really do so will be truly persecuted as their actions stand out from the crowd. So there are many who only practice their appearance of godliness but deny its power!

Infertility

Infertility

The Word of God mentions infertility in many places, today we will look at what counts as infertility and the fate of those who live in this way. Infertility is often confused with bad fruits, but it is not the same. Bad fruits signify evil deeds, while infertility (unfruitful), testifies an idle state.

Who are the spiritual Jews?

Who are the spiritual Jews?

The word of God teaches us that we must be Jews if we want to be righteous in the eyes of the Lord. But before there is a misunderstanding, I am talking about spiritual Jews. Who can be spiritually Jewish? Those who follow the actions of their ancestors (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob), regardless of their nationality.

Fatigue

Fatigue

We must walk on the path of faith, we must walk worthy of our calling, and not be weary. We must glorify God not only in words, but much more in our actions. To following Jesus does not mean that we go on vacation, but means following His actions, as the apostles did!

Repentance is not just a decision

Repentance is not just a decision

Basically, the biggest problem there is that repentance is thought of as a one-time event, a kind of decision, even though repentance is a state in which we must remain.

Homesick

Homesick

Homesick is only possible if we have already experienced the kingdom of God. If we do not know what the kingdom of God is like, we cannot long for it. Jesus made it clear to us that we can experience the kingdom of God already in this earthly life.

Fight with ourselves

Fight with ourselves

The Christian life involves struggles. Although there are many who live their Christian lives without wanting to take part in any struggle, they simply enjoy the benefits that come with being a Christian. But there are those who have recognized by the Word of God that we must fight alongside walking with Jesus.

What must I do to be saved?

What must I do to be saved?

What must I do to be saved? This is usually answered without thinking by saying: by grace through Jesus. The problem with this answer is that it is a very simplistic answer, the meaning of which is not known to many.

Faith is not naive

Faith is not naive

Naive thinking is common at the beginning of a Christian life. For they are usually associated with faith, thinking that we assume the best in each case.

How to be perfect?

How to be perfect?

How to be perfect? This question is usually answered quickly without thinking, saying: no. But before we accept this widely accepted attitude, let’s look at what Jesus taught about this. But above all, it is important to determine what considered as perfect.

Taking God Seriously

Taking God Seriously

What does it mean to take God seriously? If we do His will! Most Christians take God’s promises seriously, but they don't even want to hear about His judgement. Yet the judgment affects all who do not live according to the rules laid down by God.

Can you resist the temptation?

Can you resist the temptation?

A phrase became widespread, saying: "I could not resist the temptation". Can we not resist every temptation? What does God's Word say about this?
