The Trial of Faith

We can read a lot in the Bible about what it is like for a believer to be tempted by the Devil, or that God tests the believer, we have already talked about the purpose of this. However, it is also very important to talk about when believers have to keep their faith in God for a long time while everything "falls to pieces" around them.

Why Does God Allow Suffering?

If we apply the simple fact that we serve God, not God serves us, we cannot fail in prayer. If we love God more than anything, then His laws (also known as His will) become our delight, because then we no longer fulfill them because God asks of us, but because we want to fulfill them.

The Obedience of Faith

Parents expect trust from their children. Especially when the child is young, it is not possible for the child to understand everything what we are asking for. And when children are older, they expect us to explain our requests to them. However, parents do not always like this, as they expect trust and obedience from their children. If this is important between the parent and the child, how much more between God and His creatures?

What should we do?

If we truly (in deeds) love God, we can know Him. We do not change immediately at repentance, but through knowing God. Repentance is just the beginning of the journey, you have to go through it, you have to go through the door.

Endurance

The Heroes of Faith, whose lives we can read in the Tanach, became heroes because they stood in the commandments of God, endured in faith throughout their lives, and believed unwaveringly in the promises of God what they did not see them fulfilled.

Without limits

Elijah is a great example of how close we can be to God. He was just a man, just as we are. There is no limit to the knowledge of God, God is holy, and only those who live as holy can be close to Him.

Preach the Truth

Christians preach the truth in their own view, but it often differs from the truth of the Bible. This is because they are not trying to understand the truth by the Word of God. Many determine what is the truth by their own hearts and thoughts, but we can only know the truth through the word of God.

Why Doesn't God Answer Me?

So those who don’t hear God’s voice may not be paying enough attention. Their lives are too noisy to hear the voice of God. It can be a trial to see what is in our hearts. If God sees us where He wants to see us, there is no need for correction.
